Is the Motorola RDV2020 right for me? The Motorola RDV2020 is the most affordable two watt radio on the market so it’s a great radio for budget minded customers.  The RDV2020 will work well in buildings under 200,000 square feet or the size of typical Walgreens.  The RDV2020 also works well for Landscapers, Lawn & Garden Centers, and others working in indoor/outdoor applications. 

Is the Motorola RDV2020 waterproof? No, the RDV2020 isn’t waterproof.  That said, it is designed to be used in moisture rich environments and can be used in the rain.  If you find you’ve saturated the radio, it is best to turn it off and allow it to dry for a day before powering it back on. 

Can I program the Motorola RDV2020 to work with my existing two way radios?  The answer depends on your two way radios.  Give us a call and  we’ll walk through this with you and offer suggestions. 

How much distance with the Motorola RDV2020 cover?  The Motorola RDV2020 will cover a Super Walmart and its parking lot.  Ideally, we suggest you consider the Motorola RDU2020 if your facility is larger than a typical Walgreens drug store.
