FirstNet Field Mobility Channel Manager

We are currently seeking a highly driven Field Mobility Channel Manager. The Field Mobility Channel Manager will report directly to the Sales Manager and work closely with the VP of Business Development, GM and CEO for strategic alignment and liaise with dealer marketing resources. The Field Mobility Channel Manager is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, expanding partner objectives, creating and sustaining new sales, and establishing a good working rapport with channel, dealer and supplier partners.

The Field Mobility Channel Manager will:

  • Develop relationships with channel partners
  • Communicate with key shareholders during the sales process
  • Monitor competitor activity
  • Create and execute plans for growing market share
  • Identify and develop Channel partnerships while helping to increase their customer knowledge
  • Enhance communication channels
  • Implement promotional campaigns as assigned
  • Oversee daily channel while maintaining dealer partner relationships
  • Update and manage channel sales opportunities along with a funnel of Two Way Direct dealer relationships
  • Strategically align channel co-sell process with FirstNet Dealers Nationally
  • Work with Two Way Direct channel partners to develop and implement reporting processes
  • Partner with marketing department to create joint marketing strategies for partners and secure marketing funds
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and other industry events
  • Develops performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship
  • Monthly reporting on set sales KPI’s within channel partners
  • Work to increase cross-selling opportunities within the organization

Qualifications

  • College Degree preferred
  • Proven success communicating and collaborating with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Min 3 years’ experience in “Mobile Technology Solutions” sales is required
  • Min of 3 years’ experience in “Cellular Data and Communications” is a plus
  • Previous experience driving channel sales, ideally within the technology industry
  • Excellent verbal and written skills are a must
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to build strong relationships with partners
  • Strong personal network within the industry
  • Driven, highly motivated and passionate about growing sales
  • Previous experience working as a channel manager would be a strong advantage
  • A strong understanding of the complex industry channels
  • Project management experience a plus
  • The ability to work within small teams of people and support senior staff directives is essential
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Required to operate a computer; stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours in a retail environment.
