I had no idea what intrinsically safe meant, and I am glad I asked because it was exactly what I needed. I ordered the F3161 radio along with these Icom batteries for a great price. I am glad I called these guys.

It’s crazy how much this F3161 battery is sold for on this site. I am a fan of Two Way Direct for sure. They are nice and super easy to work with.

This battery is super durable, but it is also easy to take on and off the battery. It seriously charges up fully in about an hour.

How can you go wrong? I have been looking for an intrinsically safe battery to go along with my F3163 radio. This one ended up being the best deal, and it is a great battery and easy to work with.
