The Icom IC-F60V handheld radio is both waterproof and extremely durable with a 4.5 star two-way radio durability rating.  It has 128 channels with 4-5 watts of power for long range communication.  The F60V is a UHF frequency band radio making it ideal for indoor use where there are many obstructions like walls and equipment.  For outdoor use applications with few obstructions, consider our Icom F50V model, which is the VHF version of this radio.
