The Icom IC-F43G Radio has been discontinued and replaced with the Icom F60V Radio.  The F43G was a professional series handheld radio available in UHF frequency and had 4-5 watts of power with 256 channels.

The MIL-STD-810 series of standards are issued by the United States Army's Developmental Test Command, to specify various environmental tests to simulate conditions that the F43G will encounter in the field.
