The Icom IC-F21 Two Way Radio has been discontinued by Icom. It has been replaced with the IC-F24 professional series handheld radio. The older F21 was available in UHF frequency and had 4-5 watts of power with either 4 or 16 channels.
For small or big businesses who need economical and instant two-way communications, these handhelds provide simple and quick contact at any time. Performance is never in question. Built-in multiple tone signaling, both wide and narrow channel spacing, 3 steps of output power and other superior features set a new benchmark.
Two Way Direct rated this two way radio as Standard Series Radio with a 2-star durability rating based on Military Specification Standards. The MIL-STD-810 series of standards are issued by the United States Army's Developmental Test Command, to specify various environmental tests to simulate conditions that the IC-F21 will encounter in the field.
